rookhow's ZOOM CAFE 

2nd Wednesday of every month 3.30-4.30pm

A friendly drop-in for a chat and a cuppa. Meet local people, Quakers and Rookhow supporters from across the UK. All are welcome to join. Co-ordinated by Gill Taylor who lives near Rookhow and supported by Carol, Suan and Douglas, Rookhow volunteers.


Next sessions: 

Wednesday 10th February: 'Signs of Spring' (what can you see from your window? What other countries have you been to in Springtime?)

Wednesday 10th March: '5 minute Life Story' (each person has 5 minutes to tell their life story, without interruption). Carol will be there with her stopwatch!

Wednesday 14th April: Virtual Rookhow tour (tbc)

EPILOGUE ON MONDAY EVENINGS 9pm

On Monday evenings at 9pm, we'll be holding a short period of reflection (20mins) on Zoom. Someone will bring a poem or reading & then we'll have a short period of silence to reflect. Contact Sue if you have something you would like to contribute. A chance to re-focus at the beginning of the week. 


We'll open the Zoom room at 8.45pm & you're welcome to stay for a chat afterwards.

ROOKHOW ALL AGE QUAKER SOCIALS

We've been holding all age Zoom socials for Quakers of all ages from the 3 local Area Meetings to since the beginning of lockdown. We have produced a resource (see below) which people are welcome to use. If you are able, please give a donation to our Appeal (see the 'Support-us' page).
